AUS- NZ tour- THANK YOU everyone!!
Hey just wanted to leave a little note here about what a blast we cardinals had on this tour. The fans here and the scene here were just way way cool and I want to say THANK YOU so so much for the support I got here on my two really really bad days with my hearing/balance issue. It is getting easier and easier thankfully to deal with this inner ear wall break and I just want to return the love back at the fans and cardinals and john carter ( keeping ALL OF OUR EARS working for the best). So much love back at you!!
As far as all that goes I just want to let anyone who is interested in our band know, I am returning to the doctors as soon as I get back to california for some more hearing tests and some more advice on how to slow this whole process.
I have been having better days lately with all that. I even got a chance to skateboard a few times this trip but there were a few really awful days where it was a bummer to even try and be in the car from one place to the other without passing out.
Life is funny that way I guess. It really is so humbling and beautiful to go through this whole process and I am glad to be present and open to all of it. I must say I am so very glad I made as much music as I did and can be sure I never wasted a moment when I was hearing as a normal person does. The nausea and the “spinning” vertigo weirdness is lame but you know there are real problems in the world and real suffering and this is all very minor and a person does not need music to survive.
All that said, I am really thankful I was present for this tour and so very happy to have been on the ride!!
Until next time Cardinals Fans and Friends,
